Dwight Howard Demands Rockets Trade Or Release Him

(HOUSTON) NBA center Dwight Howard, who recently signed with the Houston Rockets, is demanding that the team trade or release him immediately, it was reported Monday.

Howard, a nine-year veteran, told a reporter over email that he’s “fed up with the situation” in Houston, and that the Rockets “can’t win with this roster.” He also blasted coach Kevin McHale as an “autocrat” and said that he has tried to talk management into firing McHale.

“Situation in HOU not working out, gotta go somewhere legit. #lookingoutfornumber1,” Howard tweeted early this morning.

According to his agent, Aaron Goodwin, Howard would most be interested in landing with the New York Knicks, the Miami Heat, the Los Angeles Clippers, or the Orlando Magic.
